Call for proposals
Our LogConnect for Startups Award, launched with great success in 2023, is announced in 2026 for the fourth time for startups that provide innovative solutions in the field of logistics, procurement or supply chain management.
MLBKT (The Hungarian Association of Logistics, Purchasing and Inventory Management) considers it important to bring and present the most innovative solutions to ensure the continuous development of the industry and to increase the efficiency of its member companies. At the same time, it wants to give startups the opportunity to test their products and services and have them reviewed by company experts familiar with the subject, as well as the opportunity to expand their customer base. That is why MLBKT decided to open up to the world of startups and for the third year we are doing everything we can to present as many innovations and developments as possible to our members.
Applications are expected from those who are early-stage, so-called startups, whose year of foundation is no earlier than 2021.
And the product or service they want to present is not only in the idea phase, i.e. its main functionality can be presented, it is suitable for its provision.
Innovation provides solutions for some or even several areas of the supply chain, for example:
● procurement
● raw material supply
● packaging
● distribution and distribution
● inventory management and control
● storage
● delivery
● material handling
● order processing
● returns management
● process development
● environmental protection
● digitization
● waste processing
● electromobility
● electric car battery production
● battery destruction/recycling
● others
It is not a disqualifying factor if the product or service to be presented has not yet undergone market validation, or if a professional or financial investor has joined the business since its founding.

Those who products have already been introducend in another country are not eligible to apply.

● This is the only tender focusing on logistics innovations in Hungary, founded by Hungary’s oldest independent professional organization.
● MLBKT’s membership and partner circle, which represents nearly 1200 members, can learn the best applicants. Through MLBKT, a door opens to the wider professional community.
● We provide the best ones with the opportunity to present themselves in the form of a presentation, where a professional jury will bring the audience closer to the uniqueness of their invention with their questions.
● Industry experts provide valuable advice and guidance to help the best in the development and successful implementation of their projects.
● At the final, several venture capital firms will be present (Obuda Uni Venture Capital, STRT Holding, Nemzeti Tőke Holding), whose goal is to make immediate offers to the startups they find promising.

The course of the application
Fill out the application form and attach a short, max. 2-page (executive summary) description of the solution or project intended for field work.
In the first round of evaluation, the professional evaluation committee invited by MLBKT evaluates the presentations and selects the works whose applicants will be invited to the introductory presentation.
The first round of evaluation is based on the following criteria:
● what problem does the innovation offer a gap-filling solution or what already available solutions is superior (60%)
● social and sustainability aspects (20%)
● impact from a national economic point of view (10%)
● the general quality, comprehensibility and transparency of the application material (10%)
The selected startups can briefly present their solutions to the MLBKT and the wider professional community at the 34th MLBKT Congress.
In addition to the judging panel, participants at the event can also vote on the presented solutions. The project with the most votes will receive the LogConnect for Startups 2025 award.
On site, participants have the opportunity to build relationships with potential customers and investors.

June 15, 2026.
First round selection decision deadline:
